You know how the people in Vermont complain about the leafers coming down from New York to watch the leaves turn color? They clog the streets with their cars and the sidewalks with their bodies. So, just like in that Family Guy episode where the family see the leaves start to turn and yell out “Leafers!”, we have a tulip festival here every spring and once it starts, every time we try to get through the town to either get to the highway or back home from the highway we invariably run into insane traffic that extends our 5 minute trip through town to 30 minutes or more. In frustration we always end out yelling “Lippers!” and shaking our fists.
I’d have a picture of this chaos if I could hold the camera steady but my hands are usually too shaky with rage to get a proper picture.
