One of my current vices is watching a show called How I Met Your Mother. Aside from Neil Patrick Harris (oh yes, NPH would do that), the show also stars Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan, and Josh Radnor. The story centers around Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) as he tells his kids the story how he finally met their mother, but the supporting cast are the ones who get to make this show a comedy. Ted is more of a bumbling retard who has to learn the most basic of life lessons throughout each episode. Well, maybe that is a bit harsh, but still this character is the least funny or interesting of the whole show. Aside from being an architect (failing architect), there’s really nothing else going on for that guy.

One night I was surfing through NetFlix looking for something interesting to watch, and I came across a French made film called District 13. It looked intriguing so I settled in and started watching. In this film, parkour phenom David Belle plays an all around badass named Leito. As soon he came on screen I started laughing… hard. Throughout the entire movie I couldn’t help picturing Ted from How I Met Your Mother, running around kicking ass. It just turned every intense scene into a snicker-fest.
