This Polaroid was kicking around in a box of photos at my ex-mother-in-law’s house (that’s a lot of dashes!). It shows the Space Needle in the middle of being erected for the 1962 World’s Fair. When I first saw it several years ago, I remember looking at it for a good 15 minutes straight. It’s amazing just how empty the lot is… there’s absolutely nothing around the build site.
Eventually I made the effort to scan it to a JPG, and today I’m making the effort to share. Sharing is fun!
