When I was a wee lad, I saw the film License To Drive with the “the two coreys” (them then, and now)… and the best license photo I had ever seen at that time was features in the movie. Corey Haim’s character flashed a sideways smile just before the picture was snapped and I always tried to imitate that in every license photo I’ve ever had taken. The DMV employees are never impressed, and a couple times they made me retake it. For all my Google Image searching, I cannot for the life of me come up with an image of that scene in the movie, so just trust me, it was a good photo.
Now a few weeks ago I attended a friend’s wedding and met a little “spunky brewster” in her own right (yes, it’s a bad 80s show reference) named Carly. Cute right? Well her license photo is one of the most hilarious photos I’ve ever seen in real life. I laughed for a good minute and almost choked on my food when I saw it. Scroll down…

Hahaha, I’m actually quite proud. I’d like to thank my mom, and my make up artist, and the rude DMV photo-taker for getting me on a bad day.

I am sincerely jealous of this picture. I need to practice a wacky face to make just as they take my picture at the DMV next time. Seriously though, it’s a pretty cute bad license photo 😉
