Monterey Aquarium

Monterey Aquarium

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

The Monterey Aquarium costs $39 for an adult ticket, which I think is too high. However, I can’t deny the place is pretty sweet to roam around if you have an hour to kill. I have a few camera phone pictures that I think are pretty alright for a camera phone.

Microcomputer conference @ Asilomar State Park

Microcomputer conference @ Asilomar State Park

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

I’m at a microcomputer conference in Asilomar Park, and while the conference is amazing and fun, the park it is held at is amazing in it’s own right. I was up late chatting last night, and got up early this morning, before the sun came up, to go sit out by the ocean and think, […]

My friend Greg Bennick

My friend Greg Bennick

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

I met Greg Bennick many years ago at an AmeriCorps event. Ever since then I’ve been fascinated by this guy. He’s involved with some of the most profound things I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing. From TRIAL to Flight From Death to Words as Weapons, he’s always involving himself in important issues in big […]

Slowly migrating to web computing

Monday, March 16th, 2009

I think the promise of Web 2.0 is finally coming around. RFID implant culture makes it into music “scene”

Thursday, March 12th, 2009

I was surfin around today looking for some RFID gear and came across a strange track from a one man band called Radio Shock. The track is called RFID Inside of Me, and listener beware; the entire track sounds like a bunch of “nails on the chalkboard” electronic noise, but I can see where he […]

Beating people up, poopin in fields, and other fun things

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about funny signs I’ve seen in my daily travels so I figured it was time. This was taken in a local Thai restaurant, forgetting my camera was in Sepia mode. Make’s it seem kind of olde tyme. I just never knew our local Thai chef was so tough! […]

As if to prove my point

As if to prove my point

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

As if to prove my point, today I was walking through my kitchen and Jennifer had left one of her magazines on the kitchen island. It caught my eye only because I thought, for a second, I was passing by a picture of Nicole Kidman showing her vajayjay. The left arm placement brings the eye […]
