I was hanging out in a local alehouse after work last week when I got into a conversation with the waitress about being vegetarian. The top two most common questions I get about it are; 1) how long have you been vegetarian, and 2) what do you eat? Answering the first one was easy… I’ve been a veg-head since ’96/’97, so just about 13 years now. For whatever reason though, I always have a hard time answering the second with specific answers, and simply saying “I eat food” usually does not suffice.
So, because I plan on being in that same alehouse next week, I decided to use my trusty camera phone to record what I eat all week. The result is a photo journal of my food choices over the last 7 days, and I have to say it was a tad eye-opening to look back. Looking at the images reaffirmed what I already knew; I need to eat out less often and I need to eat better food.
